Brant sees the same gap at the point of care. As an emergency physician and member of Ochsner Health's virtual ED team, he helps determine when patients need emergency care—and when another care pathway may be appropriate.
The problem wasn't always that better options didn't exist.
It was that people didn't know about them—or couldn't find the information when they needed it.
What if the insurance card could do more than prove you're covered?
That question became the starting point for My Health ID: exploring whether the familiar benefits card could become a front door to coverage, care navigation, cost information and spending status.
